Agriculture – Stage 5

This resource has been developed to support the implementation of the Stage 5 Agriculture syllabus. The program has been co-developed by the NSW Department of Education and CQUniversity Australia (CQU). 

In the unit of work, students generate their own livestock tracking data and develop skills in analysing this data to make decisions that improve the management of livestock. Students have access to datasets from real farms and will also collect data from their own school farms to develop their skills further in a real context. They will also study a series of case studies where farmers have used livestock tracking data on their property to support decision making.
